Warrington: Office Supplier
The nationwide insolvency practitioners, SFP has completed the sale of the assets of Office King Limited, the Warrington-based office supplies company.
Established in 2011, the company traded in printer cartridges and office supplies. It was formed to purchase an established, preceding business that had operated for circa 18 years.
The Company endured financial difficulties following a challenging trading period, and it was subsequently presented with a winding-up petition, by one its creditors. On the advice of their accountants, SFP was engaged to assist and the Director subsequently decided to place the company into administration.
SFP’s Simon Plant and Daniel Plant – both licensed members of the Insolvency Practitioners’ Association – were appointed as Joint Administrators on 10th April 2015.
Daniel Plant says that following a concerted marketing strategy the business and assets have been sold as a going concern: “Five members of staff have been TUPE’d to the new business, Office King Management Limited,” he said.
